HOW TO READ THE NOTEBOOK

Keep the evidence
within reach.

The publication starts from a supplied September 2026 research library. This edition makes that material readable and searchable, while retaining the links and qualifications attached to it.

What this edition contains

Fourteen subject chapters, an executive summary, and two supplied verification reports. The company and post-mortem collections are separate reading views of their original chapters, not additional independent research. The sector profiles work the same way.

Research dates describe the source snapshot. They are not historical publication dates for this website. This local expansion has no publication date. Event and source dates are not website publication dates.

The label matters

Verified fact
A claim labeled as verified in the supplied research. Follow the citation to assess its support; the label is not a new verification by this website.
Founder or vendor claim
What an interested party says. Useful evidence of the claim, not automatically proof of the underlying result.
Estimate or model
A calculation or scenario built from assumptions. Keep those assumptions beside the number.
Analysis or judgment
The interpretation drawn from the evidence. It can be challenged without disputing every underlying fact.

Sample limits travel with the story

Successful companies are unusually visible. Famous failures are selected, too. This library includes contrasting outcomes, but its case collections cannot establish population failure rates or prove that one practice caused success.

The supplied verification trail

The original research includes two audit reports. They document corrections, disagreements, and claims that remain uncertain. Rendering those reports is not a fresh audit of every external source.

Original material and editorial planning

The original Markdown files are preserved in the project. The website-strategy chapter is internal editorial planning and is intentionally outside the reader library. The public-facing chapters are presented in full, including their own caveats and source lists.

New research and historical backfill

The research additions are a separate layer: four topic notes and six historical cases prepared on 16 September 2026. Their primary-source records include retrieval dates, supported claims and exact publication dates where established. An unknown source date stays unknown. These checks apply to the new notes, not every statement in the supplied library.

Historical event dates and anchor-source dates are labeled as such. They do not imply this website published in those years. Company disclosures establish what the company reported; interpretation and suggested decision worksheets are distinguished from reported facts.

Twenty new practical guides

The practical guides were prepared on 19 September 2026. Each develops a specific question from the original research, with primary-source support, an explicit reader need, practical examples and source limitations. Fictional scenarios are not testing results. Source checks apply to these additions, not the entire inherited corpus.

The 200 preserved archive records remain separate from the twenty new guides. Their existing dates and source records are retained. The original content-index data contract is unchanged. Sixty-four authentic archive images retain credit and source links; owner permission or replacement review is pending before release.

Original editorial illustrations

Six original AI-generated illustrations connect software, infrastructure, life sciences, market networks, business cash cycles and ownership choices. They are conceptual artwork, not photographs of real companies, facilities or scientific results. Each use is labeled, and the originals and generation prompts are retained in the project. Owner image review remains pending before release.
